Disston # 7 28" 8 pt. Crosscut Saw  Nice handle noting chip on top horn.  Clear but weak etch.  8 pt. Straight.   Minor pitting near handle on one side, but not where it matters.  This will be a good user.

Disston No. 9 London Spring 4 1/2 pt. 27 1/2" Rip Saw Straight. Visible very weak etch. The handle is nice noting a small chip at top horn. A very nice saw.

Disston Spring Steel # 8 26" 6 1/2 pt. Hand Saw  Nice handle noting crack through upper screw on ONE side.  Clear etch.  Spring Steel 6 1/2 pt. which I assume could go either way.  Straight with maybe ever so slight a wave, but no kinks.   This will be a great user with a bit of reconditioning.

Henry Disston & Sons #18 Saw  Clear / strong etch..  28" 5 1/2 pt. Straight.  Looks to have never been used. Plastic "Disstonite" handle is marked Pat Appl'd For.  Pre WWII this saw dates from the mid 20's.  A rare variation.  Nice.

Disston D-12 Crosscut Saw  Nice Strong etch. Nice handle. Straight, 10pt. sharp and ready to go  The medallion reads Warranted Superior, I am not sure if it is original. You could not ask for much nicer condition in one of Disston's finest made saws from an era of quality and pride in workmanship.    Nice

Disston # D-76 Centennial Saw  Disston came out with this saw in 1976 to commemorate the Bicentennial.  They made just 1000 of them, and this one is numbered 0835.  Clear / strong etch..  It was never used.  The certificate describing the saw and event is glued to the back of the original display board that was part of the deal.  A very hard to find saw that will be the highlight of a saw collection.  Nice.

Disston D-76 Commemorative 1876 - 1976 Bi-Centennial Saw  This unusual Disston saw was issued in 1976 as a special by the town of Danville VA for the bicentennial in 1976.  Danville VA was  the town that Disston had moved to after it was sold in the 1950's.  It is # 806 of 1000 made for that event and is in like new condition.

The collector ordered it, opened up the box to take a look and then put it back on the shelf to never be seen again till now.  It has the original display board,  the original paper wrap, and original shipping box.   It has a  strong etch describing the event with other info, and there is also a piece of brittle paper describing the event.  The handle is a nice design and this saw will be a welcome addition to the saw or tool collection.   Very few of these turn up and even fewer in this nice condition.  A must have for the complete Disston collection.    Nice

Disston 26" 10 pt. London Spring Crosscut Saw   A nice condition saw with a weak etch.  I think it is a 12, and saw London Spring at one point, but then it went away.  Straight and sharp. Nice carved handle.  Good + condition.

Disston 14" No. 4 Back Saw  Good etch. Near new condition.  Sharp.  It was wrapped in 1980 newspaper after it had came back from being sharpened and has not been used since.  Nice!!
