14" Tall Cast
Iron & Brass Goffer Iron This
bi-metal English goffering iron is in excellent condition, and has a great
form. The base is heavily decorated ornate cast iron. The riser is turned brass with a pleasing design. The barrel is a bullet like design.
No slug. At 14" tall and with a base diameter of 6 1/2" it has great
presence!

Iron with Poker A nice Queen Anne Style Brass Goffering Iron with
matching poker-heater. Stands about 10" tall.

Century Goffering
Iron With Queen Anne Legs Goffering irons are rarely seen anymore except
in long-time collections or in reference books on the subject. This fine
example features a perfectly proportioned Queen Anne-tripod footed brass base
and a decorative iron standard
with numerous embellishments and a finely formed stepped iron barrel.
Remarkably, it has survived the years complete with the poker/slug used to heat
its barrel. The brass base has not been polished and retains the mellow
patina that testifies to its age. This early piece, which stands 9 1/2" tall,
is in excellent condition and is sure to add a touch of elegance to any iron
collection.

in long-time collections or in reference books on the subject. This fine
example features double iron barrels, and a high relief decorated cast
iron base. Very nice!!

Iron This small English goffering iron has a brass
barrel and cast iron decorated base. Very diminutive in size it stands
just 4" tall. The diameter of the base is about 2". It's complete with

Miniature
Brass Goffer Iron This
is a very unusual miniature brass Queen Anne leg English goffering iron.
Typically when little goffers are found they are of the round cast base S-standard
style rather than this configuration. The photo makes it look a bit distorted,
but believe me it's a great looking piece!

Early Steel Clamp on Goffering Irons These
are an interesting group of steel goffer irons with built in clamps and one
that folds down . Each of these have very nice detail and
characteristics of being blacksmith made as opposed to mass produced.. Two
have their pokers / heat sticks. The

of this style iron that can be found.

Steel Goffering Irons w/ Pokers These
are an interesting group of steel goffer irons. They are English, and
some are marked others not. The back one is referred to as a
beehive and is much harder to find than simpler bases. These came
in graduated sizes to handle any ruffle you might have need to smooth
out.

Primitive Iron Goffer / Goffering Irons These
are an interesting group of three early clamp-on goffer irons.
This style goffering iron is much earlier than those typically found and for
the most part are smithy-made. Note the bottom one is a folding model which
is very unusual and seldom found. The
variations seen here give just a small sampling of the many comb nations

This is the smallest goffer iron I have ever had or seen. It stands
under 2" tall, and the base is just 1" square. It's extremely
well-made. I've never seen anything like
